Teacher: Sami Suhonen
Course: Physics
This observation was regarding learning by doing. In this approach, teacher first have explained us how would the class function.
Basic idea was do not present any theory to students ant they had to construct their knowledge by experiencing the physics’ materials that were presented to them.

Teachers work as supervisors to help students carry out experiments. They had to form some groups and had a time to explain the theme “charge”. First of all they experience some artifacts and them they had a time to write a report and present to other groups and students. They also have to change the artifacts along the time of class since they had to experience all the equipment.
Environment: physics equipment in a classroom and in laboratory. The students must choose witch equipment to use and how to experience. Teacher gave them some triggers to experience the artifacts.
Social environment: it could be observed the interaction between students and their groups and also with equipment. Presentations occurred in a normal class, using flip chart tool.
Psychological environment: teacher gave some initial explanation about the assessment and how to proceed. Students have worked in groups to construct knowledge and socialize it by presenting their results and reflections.
