Observation #5 - Presentation in Marketing Class

This observation was about team working. The students have developed some marketing analysis related to International Business Blog of TAMK.

In this class students have presented their results regarding the blog. There were 4 presentations in groups. Each group has used some qualitative research method to analyze and present the features of blogs. They have highlighted good points and features that must be improved. First of all, they have presented the blog that was constructed and presented the functionalities like: usability, design, content and user's interactions.

Points of view of blog readers were collected about structure and content of the blog as a hole.

After presentations, teacher did some considerations about the blog, presentation and methods of service design.

Environment: technological environment where students work through Internet tools. The presentations have been done through PowerPoint and Prezi. The students have created blogs using some blog construction tool.

Social environment: it could be observed the interaction between students and their groups. Presentations occurred in a normal class, using tools.

Psychological environment: teacher scaffold knowledge construction giving some tips regarding marketing and services design and autonomy also could be observed once students have chosen their preferred research method and tool to analyze the blogs.
